Got to my IH park Friday night for a while. The IHs keep poppin'
I've almost covered the whole park - just a couple sections to go.
My finds this time:
6 IHs: 1876, 1880, 1882, 1897, 1900, 1909
10 wheats incl 6 pre-1920: 1911, 1912, 1913, 1919(3)
1 Rosie 1940
The US device is WWI period I think, The shield shaped pin has a blue enameled face with the initials W and G in the upper corners and below that
what appears to be a date of 07 and under that an 8 (W G over 07 over . Any ideas what it might be?
The other circular piece is about the size of a nickel - has a winged wheel on one side and on the other side is a glove over two crossed tools.
Maybe mechanic/transportation?
The gold washed piece I think is Victorian. It came out of the ground in two pieces.
The Merc, 44D was found on another day at a small section of sidewalk replacement.
Thanks for sharing. Bruce in Ct
