Last few hunts.

It's been a tough season for digging I can't seem to get the time to hunt as much as I would like to. Work keeps getting in the way. Anyhow here's my last few hunts, the V-nickel and Indian head came from a local park,(with the AT Gold) the tarnished silver washington quarter and Roosevelt dime came from a water hunt at an old swimming hole (with the AT Pro) and the two mercs and walker came from an old camp grounds. ( Also with the AT Gold.)

Congrats on the finds, very nice.:detecting:

Beautiful Walking and Mercs, you always find some great oldies!!

Nice finds! Which detector do you consider the better coin hunter, Pro or Gold? Looks like you do well with the AT Gold for coins.

That's a tough one they're both so good at finding coins. For me I like the Pro for wide open grassy areas where the old coins seem to sink deeper, I have no problem getting the deep ones, 8 - 10+ inches. I also prefer the Pro in the water, with the smaller 5x8 coil. The AT Gold is my choice when I'm hunting extremely trashy areas, also iron infested old foundation sites. Either one you use they are both excellent coin machines.
