LAST DAY ON HOLIDAYS WAS A GOOD ONE!

Well had three more days left before work and today was my last day and well you know it was an awesome day because I snagged my first gold ring with the AT pro. 9k and a men's one too woo hoo. It looked liked it had been down in the depths of the river for awhile but with a good clean up it looks good. Hunted in coin pro mode with the sensitivity one notch below max and found it just under the surface of the river sand next to a fair size rock. Depth wise I was down about 1.7meters and had to release air out of my lungs as too allow my body to sink and dive to retrieve the target, got it second try so it was all good. Found alot of junk before I found the ring as you will see in the pictures but has an absolute ball doing so. Got some clad to boot which is always nice! Enjoy the pics and have a good one!
Cheers!

Nice one found in that hunt. Congrats !

Nugget thats a great looking ring congrats. In 2011 I found several gold rings with the Atpro in 2012 all I found was junk and silver rings. 2013,I'm ready for a gold coin. best of luck to you .

Yeah! Good on ya Cobber for going down after that one! You were neck deep in croc country eh? Gold Fever!
Mud

Lol too funny mud! Local water hole I wanted to try along time ago, finaly got to it :bouncy:

Best of luck to you too blade in finding some more gold!
Cheers!

Conditions were humid and overcast to begin with but the sun came out later in the day. Started at 6am and finished by 11am. My eyes were as red as the devils by the time I had stopped. I wanted to detect here for along time but never had a machine capable of going under water (fresh water river). I urge anyone who wants to do the same to invest in a good pair of goggles and snorkel as they are a very good tool to have. Wet suit boots come in handy also as you never know what could be at the bottom of the river. The area is massive and am sure there are more good targets to be found but its getting in before the wet season hits is the worry.
Cheers!

Love it. That gives me inspiration to go water hunting with mine but the water is waaaay to cold right now. Keep 'em coming.
