7 of us elected to try a site that a friend had permission to hunt. We searched 3 different spots. The one we hunteed the longest was a camp and at the main house the owners told us that A. P. Hill used their house as a headquarters. We found plenty of goodies there and here are mine.

Here is my favorite bullet, made into a fishing weight. :)

Here is my favorite find of the day. A Richmond Frederickburg & Patomac RR button. It is a coat sized button, with a lot of gold still on it. I am waiting to clean it from a pro button cleaner I know. The RR began in 1834. I found it about 200 yard from the tracks.
Man I love this hobby! :)

The RR button is neat. Looks like you guys had a blast. I just took the plunge and ordered the Minelab Explorer SE. I think it will be a good stablemate to go alongside my CZ70pro. Too bad it's down in the 30's now!
Good hunting

If you have not put the order in yet I know a Christian dealer that has two in stock! Glad you posted at the forum, Hope to see more of you! God bless!

but wating to clean it!

One of these days i'am going to be there with you :D:. The Lord willing :D:

It's me...Hotcz70...only I will now be Bryce-IL. Since I have my new Minelab explorer SE on the way...I figured it would get confusing if I need help on the Minelab forum. I didn't figure the Minelab users would take much of a liking to a post on their forum from a user called Hotcz70. Now when I post on the Fisher forum I will post under Hotcz70 but for the Minelab forum I will post under my name. Depending on which I am logged in as...I may show up here as Hotcz70 or Bryce-IL. Sorry for the confusion and hopefully the Lord will accept me as either user!

If you need a hand with that SE just give a shout! The Explorers are awesome machines! :)

 I know it's a different animal but I really wanted to try one out. I'm sure I will be needing all kinds of advice. I'm really excited as it should be here by next Monday or so.
Happy Hunting

5 stinkin Lincolns, and 2 wheat! I did see some great ones found though!

I know my Explorer very well, and can find stuff where others sometimes can't. You may be surprised that you can go back to places you had hunted with your old machine and find goodies that were still there! :)
