Last couple of weeks

Here are some pics of the last few weeks finds. In my last post I had found my first white gold.....Now I find my first "over 18k" gold. I wasn't that excited about the ring until I got home a googled 916 stamp. SWEET. I had no idea, thought it was electro plate or gold platted.

Anyway, I was wondering if it is just me, or does everyone seem to find really SMALL rings? They are gold, but super tiny. I had some metal detecting tourist on island not to long ago and they were saying they are toe rings...I've never seen toe rings that look like wedding rings, but who am I to argue. I don't really care, I mean there gold right. Just wondering because I have found 5 or 6 rings that will not even fit my girls pinky finger.

I showed the pic of 3 rings exactly the same just different sizes....How many of you find the same kind of wedding bands? 3 in the last 6 months has to be some kind of record.

I also found the broken one and then found the broken part 10 ft away from the ring?

Nothing like the sound of gold with the Excal....

Enjoy,
Chris

Sorry, I thought I put a pic up of the 916 ring, but it's not showing up for me now...could just be me or my computer, but here it is again just in case.

Sorry, the pic is upside down, it is 91.6. The pic doesn't show well, but there is no 31.6 stamp on gold. there is 916 stamps and 91.6 stamps, that means it is 91.6% pure gold. Mostly from India.
