Last couple of hunts.

Hunts from a couple of colonial farm fields. The large copper looks like a half pence. Can make out Britannia facing left and that's about it.

Great stuff Clyde. You seem to like the same type of hunting that I do and Ct has some great spots if you know where to look (and if you can get permission - lol)

Nice digs . That large copper , does it have a eye in the center ? I may be blind but it looks like it does. If so , it could be a old, mid to late 1700's trade token. Also the item to bottom right , is it some kind of badge ? Thanks for posting. GS

Thanks GS. The copper is the one just above the Merc. The thing with the star burst is a button. The badge thing has a post on the back but no other markings.

Ok I see the copper now , my bad . I found same badge type thing also with the post on the back. Also no markings. GS

Some very nice finds there. I like the crossed cannons piece, but I guess it's not colonial (?)

Nice mix of finds! Sometimes I wonder if the people making play money had any idea how'd they'd affect us treasure hunters! Every time I find one of those I'm thinking I got a 3 cent piece or something like that. Congrats!!
