These are the relics from the last couple of hunts. The eagle I button fell apart in my hand when I dug it:cry:. Thanks for looking. HH

I think so. It's very thin, the loop was soldered on.
 
nice digs digger.... unfortunate for that eagle I button.... love that anchor button....it looks like a flat button-making it older than the 2 piece buttons..i recently found 2 different small oval shaped flat buttons-or possibly cuff links- 1 is embossed like yours and the other is engraved into the button but both have the same anchor and rope design like yours... any idea why those bullets are 2 ringers insteadof 3 ringers.... happy hunting....

The two ring bullets are Gardner's. They are Confederate made Minnie balls. Yes HH also
