Last couple of Hunts - Relaxing

Hello Hunters,

Went out again the last few days to finish up my church's playground and hunted another elementary school. Weather turned a bit colder as today's high was 57 degrees, but a beautiful blue sky. Took out the MXT to dig foil readings. Found a kid's ring, but not gold. Cleaned out a total of about 50 quarters alone from the school tot park and about 70 dimes. The bent nickel in pic is for Nancy, lol . You all know how she loves them. How does a nickel get bent that bad in a park? Anyway... Found the knife that I posted about before, but CCH wanted picture proof ! So there it is, in fact so sharp I cut my finger just opening it up. I enjoyed finding the contume bling. Next week going to hit the bleachers at the football field at the church. I do not think anyone has hunted the property yet. Wish me success, like to hit a nice big fat ring. EasySwing.

EZ,

WOW !!!!!!!!!!!!! That's what I'm talking 'bout .:thumbup: Nice job. I do love those pictures cause they truly are worth a thousand words. 50 quarters is an awsome job EZ !!!. Neato knife too. Thanks for the pics. Look forward to many more in the future. I've been too busy with work lately, hoping to get out later in the week. Cajuncoinhunter.

Great outing EZ. That's a fantastic amount of quarters. Lots of other coins too. Love the nickel...........THANKS! I bet you can take a hammer to it and bend it back. What a nice amount of misc. items. You'll find that big gold soon. Keep your coil to the soil and thanks for posting and the pics. HH, Nancy

I'll let that bent nickel go. With my luck Nancy I would hit my finger with the hammer. Just have to add another 5 cents to my clad count at the end of 2011.

EZ,

I'd lay that nickel on the end of a piece of 2X4 or a piece of firewood and give it a good "whack" or two and it'll bend back into 'coinstar' shape after a few strikes..... FINGER FREE !!!! Trust me..... CCH...

I chucked the nickel into the trash and will replace it hopefully on my next outing. Marty

EasySwing, Ref the bent nickel..... it usually occurs when the commercial size lawnmowers run over the nickels and spit them out. Those mowers can slice and dice some coins! HH Neita
