Last couple of hunts.:garrett:

Been at my pair of 63's spot the past two mornings and scored silver each time. Yesterday, got the 2 Rosies and 2 of the wheat cents and flower (junk) ring. This morning got 2 more wheats, the busted up junk ring with eagles on each side and the ear ring post. The post looked good coming out of the dirt, but no markings and not to heavy. Will give it the test, though. Right near the end of this mornings hunt got the 63d Washington quarter. That was one of those one way hits from one direction, but at a different angle got a quick two way high tone hit with silver quarter readings. It was totally on edge at 5." For some reason this spot has come to life this week. Most of the silvers I have ever taken from it have been Rosie dimes, but do recall a couple of Merc's. This mornings silver Washington was the first quarter, as I recall. Although the spot had been mowed earlier in the week, it's almost like a hay field as the grass must have been tall when they mowed. With everyday showers, it's getting tall again. The clad and cents all came this morning. 51 pieces, I think. HH jim tn

Jim nice going on the silver. You're also doing great on the clad coins. We have to make hay around here while the ground is still wet from these last rains. It won't be long before the ground will turn concrete hard again. I'm not missing any days as long as the ground is still soft to dig in.:)

That ear ring post is quite neat Jim, and good to see silver still flying out of the ground. Nice pile of nickels to!!

Thats a good coin count and great silver count too!:clapping: Funny how on certain days, some places 'come alive' which opens a whole new conversation..how few the 'perfect' detecting days there are in a given year to hit a specific location when it has 'come alive' and what a great hunt it is when you are there on one of them!
Mud...

You just won't go home without some silver in your pocket, will you? Enjoy that moist earth, it's 90's and bone dry here, though the afternoon 'monsoons' should start in a week or so and last for a month or 6 weeks. Suits me, I've been eating a lot of dust lately! :stars:
