Last couple of hunts.:garrett:

Didn't get much hunting in earlier in the week, but got back to my usual four + hours or so yesterday and this morning. Yesterday I got the 2 Merc's, 23 and 42 along with a couple of wheat cents, the toy plane, curio jewelry pieces and the brass ring. This morning I got the 03 Barber dime, 43p war nickel,1896 I H cent, one of the better looking I H's I have dug of late, the King Cotton Oneida hotel plate spoon, the 3 ringer, good for 5 in trade token and the toasted oval piece that was deep and has some design or wording on it and 3 wheat cents. The stained Merc yesterday was down in a low spot and figured water probably set there longer, hence the stained look. The wheats range from 1920 into the 50's. With todays trash and modern coins did a fair amount of digging for me. The token was a scratchy 77 reading. Thought it was probably a wheat cent. The I H was about 5" and bounced a bit in the low 70's. HH jim tn

Nice finds Jim........ Nice coppers too......

Fine digs there Jim, and the fighter jet is sweet!! I need to find one to complement the various dug "auto's" in my "garage"

Funny, dug auto's with us detector guys seems to be a garage thing. I have several shelves lined up with dug auto's, trucks and related pieces. Thanks to my wife, I must add. HH jim tn

Stellar! :surprised: :clapping: Thats a lot of targets there! Really nice work with your Pro there Jim!

Are you gonna give the water one more shot with it up in MN this spring? You are doing great on the dirt, just saying..gotta be some old swede gold in those swimming areas up there...
Mud

I'll be in the water up there for sure in Aug, but I am not a cold water fan, so won't know until we get up there on the spring trip. Right now where we go it's snowing and the lake ice hasn't all broken up yet. HH jim tn

Jim you always find a bunch of neat stuff.

Which coil were you using?

tabman

I was at the ole housing spot yesterday and was using the NEL Sharp Shooter. Worked a fresh stretch today that hadn't been mowed for a while so switched to the stock big Garrett coil. Of course, just as I was ending the hunt today, the mowers moved in. HH jim tn

Good digs in the coinage.

Nice diggnin', Jim!! You sure keep a steady flow of Silver into the treasure room!

Great variety - you always find some nice coins too. Congrats!

Great coins indeed :clapping:, but I can't help it. I'm a sucker for that toy jet. :)
