I've been busy with family commitments, work, chores but did get a couple of hunts this past week. Lots of pennies, but if you dig the copper, the silver will show up too. :)

Here's my favourite.....an old spoon. It dates back to 1915 -1920. I will probably eventually put some new life into it and fashion a spoon ring out of it. It was found at about 10 inches.

Some older coins popped out at some decent depths, including a couple of silver dimes. They are out there....you just have to plan your hunts carefully!

Some interesting finds.....a Canadian navy button, undated at the moment. It's in great shape.

:surprised:
you did a good load! The spoon is beautiful, definitely a good goal with his own story, ten points!
Congrats!
un saludo

Nice catches, John. Great spoon & silvers, and, of course, Tigger really likes the cat pin!

Tigger does not have a complete tail, but only because some creature, unknown to me, chomped off the end of it a few years ago when we had a little off-the-grid cabin 17 miles out of Taos, NM. It was near the edge of Nat. Forest land, and we had Coyote, feral dogs, and I wouldn't have put it past a couple of the neighbors, come to think of it...
