I've had a few hunts lately with only one good item found--so I haven't posted much----so here's the results of four hunts with the Safari.... First item was found about 75 feet from the railroad tracks. Some one took three pennies and stacked them on the tracks and this is the result---I've found 3 or four of these railroad pennies---but this one's the best one :clapping: The next thing is a very ornate B.P.O..E medal or pin--part missing--tried to find the rest of it with no luck. Next is is a tool check tag from La Belle Iron Works which is in virginia---I found it in California. And the last find is the only silver spoon I've found in 3 yrs diggin--it was a really weird signal----not a real good one--- -i couldn't seem to really zero in on it---- so I was circling around it and at about 180 deg it became a clear high tone and this came outa the ground.:wiggle: On days when I'm really patient and have all the time in the world I go reallyyyyyyy slow and check out every high tone ---- usually in an area I've already dug alot before ---by circling iffy signals loking for them to improve--- I dug an indian penny and a mercury about 3 feet apart---they started out as a signal I wouldn't dig ---but as I circled these I found one point where the signal improved a lot and boy was I surprised!!! Thanks for lookin and good luck out there!!!!

congrats! Are you sure about how the penny got that way. Reason I ask, is when I was a kid we put pennies on the tracks & they always came out flattened & the size of a quarter or larger & there was no detail left at all. Just wondering if maybe it was a triple strike Mint Error

Yes -railroad did it-the other side is flattened with hardly and detail-not a mint error-Tony
