Last 4 hunts and a cool printer's block

Thought I'd post some of my latest finds while I have a few minutes. These all came from some of my usual sites. There's some silver coinage, including a 1917S dime, wheat pennies, an Eldorado Tootsietoy car, sterling silver ring, sterling pendant, an aluminum $50 Spiegels token, an Army Major's pin, an Israeli 1/2 Sheqel coin, an 1894 V nickel, and what I think is a very cool old advertisement on a printer's block. It's for SUPERIOR EGG MASH, and talks about orange peel as an important ingredient. Not sure about the age since I haven't found this particular ad on the web yet.

Absolutely great hunting! Awesome display of a 'dig it all' kind of guy!:clapping:

That sort of printer's block is real familiar to me. My grandfather was a printer and he had tons of things like that. It would have been attached to a wood block (probably long rotted away) to bring it up to a standard height. When he finally retired in his 80's a good portion of his equipment went to the Museum of Printing in North Andover, Mass. I visited there last year and saw some of his old stuff on display. It was a bittersweet moment both because it belonged to my grandfather, but also because I saw and touched it as a child.
