General Rules

The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.

Only Forum Members Registered for  90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.

Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:

  • Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
  • Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
  • Do not put links to eBay.
  • Do not put links to other forums where you may also have the same item for sale or trade.
  • Dealers are not allowed to post in Classifieds unless they are a sponsor.

Advertisements not adhering to the above rules will be deleted without warning or notification.

Thanks for the post on the tesoro forum and I agree to move on but I was not Bashing Tesoro as I have been an Avid Tesoro user for many years and believe highly in their product any and all my posts on them was simply to ask why they would not answer emails or the phone and yes I do realise the time differences . I know they are busy as well as I am in My buisness but I still take the time to answer phones and emails because if I dont then I loose Money and Buisness The main reason I called is I shipped two detectors in for repairs and such and simply was wanting to make sure they got there and a possiable return time Not sure any of these request could be considered Bashing them or Putting them Down . But rest assured I will speak no more of them on your forum I enjoy this website because it has a lot of great people and info as well and with that being said I thank you for a Great web site and forum
 
If you were not involved, you have nothing to worry about.
 
I guess ANY time that you say how Tesoro could improve you're bashing them. What benefit is there to only have a forum that allows the positives? Pretty immature actually.
 
I think Tesoro answered that by sending a copy of their mission statement issued by Jack himself: to promote quality metal detectors without all the costly bells and whistles. Also,, I read one article where changing the g/b on the Golden ALSO affected the tones-and some posters actually adjusted the gb trimmer inside and found out if affected their tones.My take is that g/b is pretty useless in high trash areas, anyway-the trash acting as a masking for any deep targets. Also, coins at extreme depths have the tendency to give altered readings. I personally find my Compadre unbelievable for the price and the notch feature on my Royal Sabre far ahead of it's time-even rivalling some today. I'm debating now if I really want to break the 6" barrier and go for the Cibola or Vaq.
 
Most of the posts that had issues have been removed Jason and the forum is now back on track, constructive criticism was not the problem.
 
Larry I have to have been involved If I replied to the post in which you locked or deleted like I stated I was not bashing them only asking real time Questions as to why they would not reply to emails or answer the phone at around 1:00pm in the afternoon and as for as worring about the involvement in the post Trust me I was not! Like I said with all due Respect to you and this forum I will wait for another week and then try to contact them again about my Detectors as I know others say they are busy I believe Highly in their product and hope to have mine back soon
