I don't know what detector this amateur guy was using but I thought it was an AWESOME STORY!!! My wife sent me the link since she knows I'm crazy about he hobby, enjoy guys!

Yeah, just saw it on the local tv news. How in the world will that be beat? With a metal detector that is.

You're welcome guys, just for fun I wish we knew what detector he was using, I bet it was a X-terra 70 with the sock coil? :clsoedeyes:
and to think that each one of those guys may get more than a million. Sweeeeeeeet!!!
 
He was using a saxon sm-40
 
Just read the preliminary report. Possilby part of a warriors share of booty. All bits and pieces inluding parts f sword belts and helmet parts. Probably worth more than a million and the finder gets half and the landowner gets the other half. Now that is a nice arrangement.
