Anyone had an luck with a larger coil on the G2 - I thought I'd read somewhere that the SEF coils for the F75 worked ok - what about the NEL coils? - any help appreciated

There is a NEL Tornado 12x13"DD coil made just for the Gold Bug Pro.
I've got one...........it works fine.

Just checked the NEL web site and they do one for the G2 - do you get any more noticable depth?

A NEL coil US dealer I doubt it,....... got my first from eBay, nothing but NEL coils (easy with PayPal) now I go directly to manufacturer in Ukraine (cheaper).

Depth is good, it's a big coil,.................... more important it is still sensitive to small targets. Depth is also dependant on the user.
Nel Tornado 12x13"DD is waterproof and lovely to use on open spaces even on beaches.

Fisher 10x5"DD is my favourite when prospecting and coin hunting where there is obstacles.
The 10x5"DD is also waterproof and having a 6.5' cord it's just a matter of time before someone converts it into a "Water Bug"

I use NELL coils because they are suitable for where I hunt.

Also on there you will see a link to Treasure Hunting Pro who are UK stockists of the NEL coils.
