Large Search Coils being banned

Sven

Well-known member
Medical research has shown larger coils than 12" are causing a epidemic in wrist and elbow, shoulder joint deterioration.
It's a big drain on the medical system of Canada and the UK and other countries with social medical programs.

I came up with a new large coil design to help stop the ban.
I have been experimenting with compressed air. It does work. The coils hover and swing left to right very easily.
Your handle system will ne a bit larger in diameter to be used as a compressed gas tank. Air pump is built into the arm cuff.
Add air as needed. The coil itself is hook up to the lower shaft with a braided air tube. The coil itself has air holes around the base of it's bottom.
The compressed air is forced out of the holes creating constant thrust. There's enough air in the rods for 1 hour of hunting.

Second version, is using battery power. A lightweight foam filled coil fitted into the center of a quad copter. The quad copter provides adjustable thrust
to keep the coil at a constant height. The idea came from a self-propelled lawn mower with a twist.

Sending one of each over the pond for testing. I will be licensing my idea to any manufacturer of search coils.
Look for the Lighter than Air trademark.

We are still testing this super secret material in building the lightest coils in the world: http://www.yourdailymedia.com/post/...lighter-than-air-stronger-than-brick-and-imm/ So far the doctors, medical practitioners object to it and hope to ban it citing loss of patients and revenue.

Happy April Fools Day to you also.

All old technology Sven, I myself have been experimenting with the wave of the future...magnetic levitation.
Just a few obstacles to overcome and I think I got it.
First, the magnetic field does seem to interfere with the scanning field of the coil which is a problem.
Second, on my first prototype I adjusted the power range of the field using flawed math, (my supercomputer I use to crunch numbers is the calculator on my Samsung S6 phone), and as a result my coil kinda blasted out of the atmosphere and I assume into orbit.
I think I caught a pic of it on one of its first passes over my house, (see below).
I have a call into NASA's Orbital Debris Program office to see if they can help me track and recover my missing hardware since I am funding this whole project out of the clad I have found and funds are getting low so it would be nice to recover this modified coil.
There is no aisle at Home Depot for off the shelf supercooled magnets so I have to make my own which isn't cheap.
Thinking about going the Kickstarter route if needed after I clean and invest the last of my dirty zincolns.

I'm concentrating on "visualising". Doesn't matter what size the coil is, just visualise it hovering...takes a huge load off your arm.

Recently I have been working on a pocket size speed stick gold probe, I programmed in some wrong info, it won't find gold. It sure finds Canadian coins.
Pulls them right out of some ones unsuspecting pockets, an exciting buzz takes place that distracts the person as the coins zing out..........

This is the perfect pocket tool for the beginning pick pocket newbie.

Sven, Sven, Sven....technology can be a wonderful tool.
However I say why go through all that trouble and expense when nature already supplies all we really need.
