Large loops arm strain

vlad

Well-known member
I'm currently using a Invader FZ-12 on my CZ, but it kills my elbow. I know many hunters use larger loops on a variety of detectors. Has anyone tried the Velcro closure type elbow support often seen used by bowlers?:help:

Any larger coil makes the CZ nose heavy and really defeats its ergonomics..forget the bowling thing as I have been bowling for years and this device helps with tennis elbow as the bowlers of today throw a 3/4 roller which puts a twisting strain on the arm not seen when swinging a detector.Might try a swingy thing or several other commercial devices and a couple of homeade ones I have seen that take the strain off the arm by switching the weight to the larger back muscles...
Personally I don't prefer hipmounting myself but it will help to a degree...
