I found this in the Delaware Canal near Easton, Pa.
Oh- I just gave away a site, oh well, the more the merrier.
The Canal broke open with the flood and the thing was bone dry. I have figured out where the best stuff accumulates. Any guesses....
At any rate I put the large cent find (from same locale) in with it for size relationship. She was un-identifiable until I used my electrolysis set-up.
Of the research I did the closest thing I could fine was a late 1800's Indian Wars helmet pin. medallion.
Trouble is most of those were much smaller.
This one has triangular prongs on the back side for attaching. The material is copper.
Could be from more recent times but looks pretty old.
Any feedback is always welcome. HH-aloha Johny Mc.
