Large cent

Found in my back yard fooling around with settings on my detector. Not in that great of condition but can just make out the date. 1827. I'll take it anyday! I believe I'm getting a pretty good handle on the XLT after being away from it and the hobby for quite a few years.

Yep was a nice surprise to find in my yard ! Things are were you find them.

In whatever condition, old coins are great to dig up.
Just make sure you don't destroy them while digging.
