Out at an old site back in the woods. Dates back to the 1800s, possibly much older. Large Cent is an 1838. Also found some nice buttons. Found an 1840 Half Dime last weekend. Found it with my ATpro. That is a very nice large cent. Also some nice old buttons. Congrats.
 
Really nice finds Surfman, no shame in digging junk with your good finds and your good finds are very good. Love to find some history like that where i live. but i am happy with late 1800s/early 1900s. hope you can go back and dig some more at those places. Destructo
