Large Cent, Indians, Barber, buckles and more.

Found a new spot in the woods not far from one I had great success at last year. Not a lot of coins to be found, but what I pull up seems to be what I'm looking for. Although the LC is kind of toasted, it's a 1798. I always like finding coins with a 17 at the front of the date. The silver ring was found about 30' from the large cent and appears to be Victorian era. It's always nice to throw in a couple of Indians and misc artifacts. On the pocket watch on the left I rechecked the hole and found the winder. Pays to recheck your holes.

Don, I like all of your finds. They indicate a hot spot. Did you see any stone foundation nearby? The two pull handles might be from furniture drawers. Were you digging any deep nails?

Great finds! Love the ring. Usually the stone in a ring that old gets separated. Nice old relics

1895 plain is a semi key. 88.00 for good and up. does it have a mint mark?

I guess it's a shame it's a Barber Quarter and not a dime which is the semi key. If I had my choice the 1798 large cent would be a 1799 or 99 over 8. Then I would have a really rare coin.

The coins are cool but I LOVE that ring!!!!!

sweet finds!
