Took a ride to the location in Rhode Island where I found the Half Cent a couple of months ago, hoping for some old silver. Not to be! Finds, even good signals, tend to be few at this location, but they're usually old, so it's worth the torture on the old arms.
Probably got a half-dozen decent signals in 6 hours, but 2 were large cents, 1 no date just horribly corroded, the other a very nicely detailed 1851. Showed some corrosion after cleaning it up, but you can see the excellent detail. Also found a few wheats, the best being a 1909-VDB and an 1892 Indian Head penny.
Enjoy the pics and HH!
