land version of the excal

that's the one,,the sovereign....:clapping::minelab:

The Excalibur is itself a very good land machine. Don't sell it short. Just because it does not have a screen does not mean it cannot hunt on land.

Ive got an XTerra 705 for hunting the sand,and I love it.The thing is a coin magnet for sure.I am very happy with it,but since I spent a good part of my life spearfishing,and I'm comfortable with a wetsuit and in the water,I thought it would be time to move up to better things.

Nickie, one of the best things about the Excal II is it can handle the salt, the rain,the fog, or anything the beach elements throw at it. It does the land just fine. I had a sovereign GT , took the ocean elements about six months to corrode the metal parts, and cause the switches to stick and just not click at all. If your doing just lake beaches, it might be a different story. All underwater machines can handle the ocean elements. Gene
