Land Star test

Did a bit of a test today with the Land Star. Found out that i can still detect coins, nickle, penny, dime, quarter, when a nail is right next too, right below, or right on top of them. So is this a BH trait, or just certain models. I hear the Omega and Gamma are good at target separation too in the Tek line. I knew Tesoro's were good but didn't really think this Bounty Hunter would be. Surprised me some. So far i am really liking this unit. Need to try it out with the 4" coil and see how that does. I was even able to detect in the Gravel around the pavilion in the park where i go without any falsing and chatter and still find coins. Don't know that it gets a lot of depth though, but for the most part i think most coins fall in the surface to 4"-5" range anyway and it will do that. Nice little unit for the price.

I expect to still use mine when the ocasion calls for it. It is a solid unit. I'm glad your still happy with it. I won't ever sell mine. I am having a blast with my simple Tesoro though :)
