Land Star DOWN!!!! Land Star DOWN!!!

Well I talked to a technician at First Texas Products about my recent falsing using the 8" standard coil, and he agreed that he thinks the coil has gone bad...They want me to send the Land Star and both the 8" and 4" coils to them for testing...Who knows?...I might get a free coil at worst, or a whole new Land Star at best...Anyways, the folks at First Texas are top notch...I do not even know how old the machine is, and they were willing to still help me out. It will have to wait till February, as Christmas hit the wallet a little hard this year. Had to spoil the Grandson...lol.

I will still hunt with the 4" coil when I can until I send it in...I am always afraid of sending stuff through the mail...I have no backup detector, and this is gonna cost me about $40 to mail it with insurance and all...I could buy a new coil for $40 bucks...I might just do that, but if it is the machine itself, then I still have to send it in...Anywho, it is gonna cost me $40 either way...Might as well send it in and see what they say...

Hope you get it soon BH, all the best mate LIVE YOUR DREAMS! HH Nugget.:detecting:

BH,
I understand the mixed emotions about sending it in. A couple of years ago my 202 started acting up. I really didin't want to send it in but I had lost confidence in it's performance because of the problems and I had to do something. I contacted BH and arranged to send it in. Within two weeks it was back. They upgraded my machine, replaced the motherboard and gave me a new coil. It was like a had a brand new machine again. You can trust their warranty, it's worth the time spent to send it in.

Thanks guys...Just having a little separation anxiety... It will get boxed up and shipped around February 5th when I have the funds again to send it in...It will be nice to know that it is back to factory specs, and I can once again put my full faith in the machine.
