HI everone
Hightone i have 2 lrp one i am gonna keep the other i will sell with an adapter cable ..... ilike the lrp as good as the omega plus nickles are lower on the scale .. i have a f44 also i dont like it at all it just doesnt respond like i like ...i spend most of my time in really trashey areas and the lrp gets the job done with 5 inch coil.. in the winter its not bad ,looking foreward to this summer this area is nortorious for snakes. so iwill keep testing the lrp with other coils but in the parks and ball fields...it seems that this area has had little to no detector activity that all of our silver finds are shallow but real scarce the silver seems to be hiding in the trashy junk and i have noticed that the lrp will find that silver in junk better than anything else ...have you tried the 5 inch coil on the lrp ? if so how does it do in tenn in your area...
just to let everyone know i am not short, red, or have a high voice. my granddaughter picked elmo for my forum name ,she gets excited when she sees it one the computer screen.and at our age [67] we live for our grand kids

Hi elmo,

I guess you're speaking of my comment in the sales forum when I saw that you were selling a LRP.

Like you, I am 66 and the LRP is perfect for me. I checked into the F44 and the Whites Treasure Pro. Both had nothing over my LRP including depth, options and hunting style. In the beginning, I wanted to be able to have a better selection of coils which limits the BH Pro's to only a few. But once I had Craigs converter, the whole Greek lineup became available including those from third party sources like NEL.

Everyone talks about how great the Eurotek Pro is, but the LRP is the same detector with more features, as is the Omega. Other than FeTone Iron Audio (which as a coin and jewelry hunter I always disc out). And the AM mode (which is awesome) is absent from the ETP.

But to me it comes down to how it performs. And it keeps up with most of the best of them.

I stuck the teknetics 5" dd coil that I bought from first texas on my lrp and I haven't took it off since! Love the little coil. Works great in trashy areas. But still likes smashed pop cans and bottle caps. I did find a lot of coins that I had missed with my 11" dd.

hi dirtdigger
the 5 inch coil is a great asset to the lrp as well to any machine. I was having trouble with caps and cans but when i am in the areas where they are. i am just extra take extra care pin pointing, if the signal seems extra wide then i suspect a can or cap.,
or a lot of time if i get the same depth reading then i suspect can or cap .
what kinda depth are you getting with 5 inch coil in your part of the country?
