Got out and hunted in relic mode for first time, D=4, G=10. Lake was down and shore was sand and pebbles. Temp was about 65

Glad you could get out and hunt. It rained here off and on in Central Illinois. HH and thanks for sharing. Nancy

I love relic mode. After I switched from coin to relic, I started to find way more items.

Do you hunt in straight relic mode or with trigger forward ?

Relic mode, trigger forward. Talked with a guy at a group hunt that used a MXT for a long time. He told me to try it that way and ever since then I have found way more coins. Maybe it's just luck but it seems to work for me. Yourself?

Is there any other way? :thumbup: I love it. Great finds again! HH, Nancy

Went back a day later, same settings, 5.3 on both outings. I'll use the relic mode more often.

JoeH;
I've been using the coin /jewelry mode and not doing to bad with it.
When I start with the MXT this spring, will go the same route as you.
I don't have the pro so the two tones that the older unit will give will be welcomed.
Spoilt with to many Whites to chose from:laugh:
