Lake Michigan problem.... damm coal!

I can notch this out, but it hits as foil...........Anybody have this problem?? Using the Ace 250. I have a BHID and a Stingray 2 as well. I'm hoping I can GB it out with the BHID or SR2. Or is this going to require a PI unit?? Looking forward to waterhunting this summer!

Believe it or not the ground is still froze there by reports. Lately If I've got 3 hours to play I'm blessed! Just been fooling around near the house.

I have trouble ground balancing out coal with my Tejon. Haven't tried the Cibola with GB mod. My CZ's aren't particularly bothered by coal but they don't see small chains that the Tesoro's find pretty readily.

Lay it on the dirt and give it a try with the BHID and the SR2 and see where you are at. Good luck! I hear that those great lakes beaches can return lots of goodies.
