Lake Loot Load!

Gulf Hunter

Active member
Went to the lake again today with Gulf Huntress. We have been loaned a Head Hunter Diver by spanky to demo to see if she wants one. Her post will be up tomorrow as I apparently kept her out in the sun too long today and she has crashed. I ran the Excal and it was humming sweet melodious tunes to me all day. Began the hunt around 10-1030am and quit around 630pm. Ended up with $10.54 total in clad! Got a Beverly Hills Polo Club Watch, a non-ferrous unmarked hoop, a .925 ring "1st Cor. 13:13 Faith Love Hope", a sterling religious medallion "St Jude" and a 14K band. Also scooped a couple more arrowheads and a biface (scraping tool). It was a beautiful day in Texas. Asked Huntress to bring the camera, but she forgot it. Turns out we coulda used it! There were 3 dry sanders that showed up mid-day, and 1 had a Whites Beach Hunter ID. That guy shoulda been in the water, but all he had was 1 of those hand scoops. They sat in the shade and watched me for an hour or so, maybe they learned something.

My digging arm aches just looking at all your finds :) Nice going on the rings.... Let the dry sanders stay where they are, I wouldn't want to share the water with anyone if I was finding the gold... Let them find there own spots lol.. I made mistake once posting on a messageboard where I found 4 rings in 1 outing and the next day I went there it looked like the beach came under a mortar attack.

Jeepers:bouncy::cheers: Alll that loot in ONE day. FANTASTIC.:yo:Great arrow head.I like that gold ring.
Ask them sandys to find another lake or they will be on top of your honey hole in no time.:yikes:

1 of 'em came over and asked me what kind of stuff I find out there and I just said a lot of coins. Gold is not something they need to know about. The guy said, "Oh man I wanna find some jewelry". He had a bounty hunter I think, so I wuddn' too scared. According to Charles Garrett "The ratio of water hunters to land hunters is easily 100:1" and I love those odds.
