Lake hunt pics...last chance hunts, lake is starting to fill up...

Well I started to grid the lake and led me to a patch of coins. The coins in the pic came from a place in middle of lake all within a 10 ft diameter of each other. Must have fell out of pockets or the boat while swimming. Other stuff is usual crap. Dont know what the big iron hook thing is. Its heavy though. Was about 10 in deep. Lake is filling up getting ready for spring time. So this might be my last dry lake hunt. Hopefully will get another in. Seems I'm on a dry streak of getting jewelry. Any suggestions will help. I covered alot of ground and use a 12.5" coil so I can cover ground, but alas no jewelry. Maybe next time. Enjoy. Alan (Ga)

Have you detected all the swimming areas? How about the older swimming areas before it was a lake. Have you detected all the boat launches? Gets some old topo maps and look them over. Any battle fields near the lake?
