Lake hunt pics...last chance hunts, lake is starting to fill up...

Well I started to grid like some of you suggested and led me to a patch of coins. The coins in the pic came from a place in middle of lake all within a 10 ft diameter of each other. Must have fell out of pockets or the boat while swimming. Other stuff is usual crap. Dont know what the big iron hook thing is. Its heavy though. Was about 10 in deep. Lake is filling up getting ready for spring time. So this might be my last dry lake hunt. Hopefully will get another in. Seems I'm on a dry streak of getting jewelry. Any suggestions will help. I covered alot of ground and use a 12.5" coil so I can cover ground, but alas no jewelry. Maybe next time. Enjoy. Alan (Ga)

I save all mine and maybe one of these days I'll have enough to melt down for a weight belt!

Good pix and story. Hang in there. If you're pullin' nickels and tabs from the ground it is only a matter of time before the loot comes your way!

That wouldn't be Lake Lanier would it? It would be nice if IT was filling up.

I also save my sinkers, the good ones I clean and sell at the markets, the bad ones go to the scrap merchant@80c a Kilo. HH regards Nugget.:detecting:
