Lake beach in Switzerland

Living in Europe with the U.S. Army, get to hunt beaches in Switzerland. This is from a 2 hour hunt yesterday with the lake level WAY down. 2 silver coins, 1906 Swiss Franc, and 1957 1/2 franc, and a sterling ring (not sure about bracelet) Coins are the real find since a swiss franc is worth $1.06 and I found 11 francs worth this morning (not pictured). Rusted stuff are Euro 1/2 and 5 cent which are copper clad steel.

5 franc coins are not found often, but 1/2 franc turn up all the time since they are the size of a dime

It must be interesting and different to dig in a foreign country...pretty much dig everything?.....I see from your last post you've been there awhile,do you get to hunt much...post more often if you can...work on those pics,they don't enlarge for a closer look ....And thanks for your service

I'll add some more Pics of my next beach hunt at a higher quality.

I set the disc on my F-70 at 21 and most small swiss coins come in at 23 on the meter. still dig bottle caps, but there are few pulltabs on the beach since most people do not drink out of cans.

Switzerland is a country very neat and precise in its rules and laws.
It 'also very liberal and free but also hard with penalties
You should ask if there are limitations to the research, I believe not, but it is best to ask.

If you are able too, Lake Toplitz in Austria next to Switzerland would be a dream to hunt (underwater that is)! The Nazis dumped millions in gold and silver bars/coins and Fake English currency at the end of WW2. There maybe restrictions on underwater detecting though seeing it might be classed as a historical site?....perhaps or perhaps not!!
