She did break the no gold spell and came up with this 10k belt ring.
I returned LG's finger salute from yesterday...being a man with a mental problem but having a strong sense of self-preservation I made sure she would not suddenly turn around in the "middle" of the salute.

Speaking of silver LG said I had to clean up my store room and clean the silver...which I started but have a Loooong way to go.

Great Silver Collection WTG
How old are the walking liberty half dollars?
I found one yesterday and it is barely recognizeable.

Those are really nice looking half dollars. The 1943 shows a tiny bit of wear and tear but nothing compared to the worn out half dollar I found. So either mine was exposed to the elements a lot longer or there may be some truth to the effect of higher saline in the local waters on the deterioration of metal. The copper would have broken down with the high salt levels and pitted the half dollar; at least in theory. This has been bugging me since I found this half dollar.
Based on your experience does this make sense?
Thanks so much for sharing your finds.:detecting:

a 1601 King James the First Hammered silver shilling in the dunes and you could make out everything on the coin...some of the coins wear by the washing motion of the ocean...if the coin is deep in the sand close to a iron object the iron is the less noble metal so that takes the electrolysis away from the silver....Remember some of the coins Mel Fisher was bringing up from the wrecks....

max she's a lil pale from u flying to high in that lear, i no she is the new stewdress on all treasure huntin flights huh?
