Got back yesterday from a 7 day Western Caribbean cruise on RC's Liberty of the Seas ....
We were very late boarding and getting to our cabins due to the incoming cruise the same day off loaded 3 hours late due to heavy seas coming into Miami and 400 of the passengers contracted Norvo virus.
They had all crew members bleaching down every surface of the ship. If you stood still too long, someone wearing a ghost-buster chemical suit and a back pack sprayer might hose you down with bleach. Only about six people on our cruise got the virus.
Went to a turtle farm where they raise turtles. 75% for food, 25% to be released into the Caribbean Sea. Here's a tiny one I snatched out of the tank. Wonder if it tastes like chicken?

Only went water detecting for about 2 hours .... had too much fun doing other stuff with the perky Nancy. Here is a gold ring found on the smallest beach on Labedee .... didn't hunt the two larger, more crowded beaches. I think it's 18kt ... old ring, no markings, right color though for 18kt.

Also got to see some Tulum Myan ruins on Yucatan .... after a 45 minute pounding / pukeing ferry ride(not me but about 25 of the 200 or so in the ferry) and 60 minute bus ride. Glad I saw it, won't go there again.

I didn't lose a dime of my money in the casino and played poker every night from after dinner until about 1:00AM and all afternoon the two days we spent at sea. I did however transfer way too much of my children's inheritance to Royal Caribbean Cruise Line through the poker tables .... my kids got their donkey kicked from my lack of luck. Sorry about their bad luck! I had fun at the tables and ended up selling a water detector to a poker dealer. Also got an order coming for one from some guy I talked with while waiting to disembark the ship.
