found all these German and Russian WW2 relics with my 1266x over the last few years in the Kurland pocket Latvia (1944/45)

1x Russian helmet Battle damaged
1x German general assault badge
1x German MG42 machine gun (found in may this year)
1s German helmet with bullet hole damage and intact decal
1x German ID Disk (rare special forces luftwaffe disc)
1x general assult badge,2x iron crosses 1st and 2nd class and a close combat clasp

We are members of a Latvian search group dedicated to finding the remains of fallen Russian and German solders in Latvia.

And as you can see we not only find there remains but the debris of war.
These are just a few of the items found and as you can see some are in good condition and others in relic condition.

No item found with the remains of any solders are removed but re buried with him later in a formal ceremony.
All these items where found in bunkers or general battlefields
My fisher is really good for this type of detecting as it has a good discriminator.

That's gotta be fun (and a bit dangerous, I imagine you find some live ammo too).

Love that rare special forces luftwaffe disc, very cool, must have a great story behind it if it could only talk.

Yeh
lots of live stuff all in good condition and dangerous !! we got out with army engineers so any live stuff gets collected and blown up!!

luftwaffe disc is from special forces division dropped behind enemy lines to cause mayhem first one we have found in Kurland !!

but untill they release records from germany dont know any more than that !!
