Kudos to Garrett as far as the AT series coils go

So glad they made the Max compatible with all the Gold and Pro coils. I have had my AT Pro since 2012 and I've acquired a nice variety of coils for it, from the Garrett sniper, 5x8 DD, stock DD, to a Nel Attack and a Nel Snake. Some companies seem to not want to make things compatible so you are forced to rebuy coils and what not and they make more $. I don't plan to replace my Pro anytime soon, as the new features on the Max seem to be "nice" but not "game changers". But it's comforting knowing if my faithful AT Pro goes down and it's going to be a costly repair, that I can move into the Max and already have a nice assortment of coils for it. So Kudos to you, Garrett!!!

I totally agree. After all the wait the "hoopla" isn't so much. More punch and better ergonomics would get my attention with the included "new" features.
