Kruzer iSat feature?

Does the iSat feature on the Kruzer have any function when searching in Disc mode or is it just functional in All Metal mode?

It does effect the disc mode also, Usually the lower the iSat, the deeper it goes.

If that's true,which I believe you,what would be the benefit of anyone running a higher isat then?

In highly mineralized soil, raising the iSat can really help with quieting the machine down. It's like the adjustable SAT (Self Adjusting Threshold) on some of the White's detectors from the past. Tesoro also used to have and a two position switch on many of their detectors. They called it "Auto Tune" Fast/Slow. It adjusts how fast the detector tries to bring the threshold back after seeing a target or spot of mineralization. You can test this by setting the detector to all metal, adjusting to threshold volume to a soft setting and then swinging over a target and stopping the coil over the top of the target, and seeing how fast the target sound disappears.

Helps deal with hot ground and hot rocks a little better, but I'd set my Gain right first before increasing the iSat too much.

Are we talking about the gold kruzer? Bc I don't know if the multi kruzer has it
