Kruzer & Impact

It would seem to me the impact is going to be the flagship of their line of detectors for now...The Kruzer is a combo machine water and land so it is better with that in mind and more than one Freq in water may be a game changer for this company. I also think with software updates via the internet they can still keep the impact moving forward and improve it as they can with the Kruzer. I'm looking for another machine to use with my Impact and I have the Vista Gold Gain but miss having a display and tone break and a few other things I have grown accustomed to...thinking of selling the gain with two coils but can't think of another machine I want as a backup. Had the racer and loved it had the deus for years and just sold it. Anyway nice to see a company growing in such a positive way...Reminds me of how the USA used to do things...

If you liked your Racer then maybe a Racer 2 would make a nice second machine to go with your Impact. I think you will see some bargains coming up now that the Kruzers are here. It gives you 5 modes, Iron Audio, tone breaks, audio tone adjustment, iSat in all metal. R2 is still one heck of a machine and I see a few go across eBay at pretty good prices. They also have a great mfg and aftermarket coil selection. And switching back and forth between it and the impact isn't a big deal as they are similar machines.

Hey EL how ya been doing? I Think it is:

Make
America
Great
Again

I have used the Racer 2 for a couple of years and love it. I just purchased the Kruzer and am hoping it won't seem too identical to the R2. I considered the Impact heavily since I really don't water hunt, but I was tempted by the 3 frequencies (I'm not sure why) and the fact that it's a new unit from Makro. I fear the two detectors will be too similar and I won't see the need to keep both. If that happens, maybe I'll keep the Kruzer, sell the R2, and get the Impact. But I guess I'm getting ahead of myself. I don't even have the Kruzer yet.

I think they should have made the Kruzer and not the racer 2 but they now have a nice lineup...Wonder what is next....

The Racer 2 was released over 2 years ago. I think the Kruzer after the Racer 2 is a natural progression. I love my Racer 2 and will be getting the Kruzer when the weather gets nicer and I can detect with it in the lakes around here.

I'm holding off for a bit still. Been eyeing the impact for some time and now the kruzer looks promising, but I don't think my current machines, relic and r2, are letting me down or that I'm missing much.
Ugh. They are making it hard not to buy though. Rapid succession of new awesome machines makes me want them all!!

I think the impact is the better machine unless you water hunt then I would sell my Racer and keep the impact and get the new one. with updates, I think they will offer the impact users some improvements to keep them in the game...it has more programming and if you know how to program it I think it is as good as the deus
