Kruzer first outing - nice!

Had a couple of hours with the Kruzer and am really impressed with it already. I’d say it’s definitely an upgrade from the Racer 2–seems more stable, accurate, and sensitive to. me. I took it to a spot this afternoon where I like to test detectors since it’s not very trashy or brushy. This place has been hunted hard by me and my two partners, mostly with detectors in the 14-15Khz range, so I thought I’d try 5 KHz and 4 tones. I was frankly not expecting much, found four wheats and a silver Rosie. Also found this unknown brass item—perhaps a lipstick, but looks old.

The audio response in 4 tones was exceptionally strong and VDI on-target even at 6-7”down. I think I am really going to like this unit and look forward to this season getting to know it better. It’s going to take some time for me to get comfortable with the front panel, especially with my big ham hock hands and gloves on. ;-) I also miss my trigger.

Kudos to the Makro/Nokta team.
