Koss headphone question

I have a gift certificate for Whites and I am wondering if there is a big difference between the Koss headphones and the stock Calrad headphones. I am aware of the other brands, such as the Gray Ghost, but I am only interested in the comparison of the Whites/Koss.

i've had both types, out of the two the koss hands down were the best for me,a little tight on the ears for all day hunts but otherwise very comfortable,i received no enjoyment what so ever from the calrads at all.although i will say that when i bought the koss phones they were top of the line and they were sold by whites with a lifetime warranty close to $100 bucks, and the calrads i had were probably their cheap set,so the koss took it.the koss phones broke i sent them in with $5 for shipping and they sent me a fresh "used" set that i really weren't to pleased about,oh they worked fine but the pair i sent in were still like new,and the pair they sent me were obviously used, scuffs and stuff but they held up fine for me.

Those of you who have owned the Koss K W PRO headphones from White's(the $100 lifetime guarantee ones) know of the problem of breaking.I had two pairs that were sent back alternately for replacement. They were good phones, except for that problem. After a number of exchanges,I decided to try something different.I bought two sets of Koss UR-30 headphones and switched the dual volume control leads from the KWs to the UR-30s.They cover my ears completly and are very comfotable.Works for me.
