Knee Pads

Just started wearing a pair of construction type knee pads (originally purchased for making repairs to my driveway) out coinshooting. Man, what a difference! Used to bring a mousepad or towel to kneel on, but still managed to get the knees of my pants wet/dirty, or wear them out prematurely. No more! Now I'm keeping this pair of kneepads in the trunk to strap on every time I go $trikin'.
Since I'm a relative novice, perhaps this is old news to this group, but thought I'd share it anyway, just in case someone else might benefit.

they make a big difference. Have even forgotten I took them off moving to another field and dropped down on my knee getting ready to hunt, ouch, LOL! HH, Mike

I bought a set for about 13 bucks that have hard plastic fronts with padding behind it. They have velcro straps to wrap around the knee. I don't hunt without them.
