Knee Pads, what works best for you?

Knee Pads, what works best for you?

My "El Cheapo" knee pads are coming undone.
And I am wondering what works best for my fellow dirt fisherman.

I have tried a variety in the past including Gators, different Allied Safety, and others.
What I hate most is the amount of creep which most knee pads do no matter how much I tighten the straps.
They just keep creeping down my leg, but if I tighten the straps too much it either hurts or very quickly ruins the strapping.

I like the ones that are tough enough to block out broken glass and yet have some sort of inner padding to protect the knee joint.

Maybe I just need to toughen up and develop 'detecting knees" :)

TOO MUCH DIRT, NOT ENUFF TIME!

I just them locally at home improvement places. Can usually check them out before purchase. I have from just padding to the protective hard shell types. Thing is, most times I don't use any at all. I had mostly them them before while prospecting as those rocks can take a bite into the knees after a few hours or so.

Mine have lasted for 3 years, and still going strong. They also stay in place with the adjustment strap that locks in place..Very comfortable..I need to mention I only use one pad on Left Knee..........

Thanks everyone for the ideas so far.

I am thinking about the Commercial Floor Layer grade.
Just need to check out what is available.

I posted on another forum and someone also suggested the heavy padded knee protection like kids use for high school sports, etc.
