Was almost 3 hours on the beach. Sunny but rather cold, due to the icy wind. Had to were my gloves, in the end ! Finds were good + fun :

1. 7.17 Euro = 8.60 USD
2. 5 Belgian frank
3. some lead weight to equilibrate a car wheel + tire
4. 2 strange, very small, copper "dices" (but no dots on them)
5. nice lips, the metal part is silver, I guess
6. splinter of a bomb

Also found that little soldier + deep under the sand, waiting for me, were 3 nice little cars.
Land rover "Daktari-style" was made in G Britain by whizzwheels
The smaller red truck was made by Matchbox "Rolamatics" ; made in England.
The yellow sports car was made by POLITOYS EXPORT "chaparral 3 F" and was made in Italy.

Also found that wineglas, somebody had left behind !?!

Another great day, for me.

ThankYouForLooking !

When the first half of the batterie on my display is "off", I always carry spare batteries, Mick. They have a long life in the X-Terra but of course, they die ONCE....

Hi Bob.
I should have been carrying a spare set of batteries. Had rechargeables in the detector. The wife has the recharging unit with her in Sydney at the moment.
The post you are looking for is on the next page now, under the heading "When the wife's away, this mouse did play".It's immediately under the post by Bob H about how to post a photo. As you say;Enjoy, and thank you for looking.
I don't know about you recruiting me, but I might just recoup(from fits of laughter):stars::surrender:
Mick Evans.

I really need FIT men ! Hahahaha...

About the batteries : I never use rechargables, I don't trust them. I always use new ones and in my car I have like 20 in stock, packed & all. So, when my batterie level is "half way" I always carry 4 new ones while detecting.
