Kinda of a dismal spin, but gold none-the-less!.........

Went for a solo spin last evening, with the Excal, into an 1103P -0.7L and E winds 5-10. East winds of any kind around here are surf death generally, however the lead was still reasonably high count, so I was encouraged. Began the hunt at 945P. Clad count was a devastating 5 cents!

The only highlight and I'll take it, was the Mickey Mouse double ring charm. Of course it is not marked as that would more than likely be on the ring. It looked kinda knarley at the pivot point, as I guess they just use cheap steel for that. The pivot point was completely corroded and it was welded together with rust. Acid tested the piece and it holds 10K. Bar material, I like it! I baled at 1245P.

What are they getting for lead nowadays? I have probably 50#'s or more of those weights...
