Finally bought a new coil for my new mxt, visited my local whites guy after calling..only coil he said he had was 4x6 dd shooter, turned out was 3x6 dd,was looking for 5.3 coil but i bought anyways as i wanted something smaller than 12 spider it came with...was dark by time i got home but put on anyways and went out to my yard which has 100 years of trash..did hit some defenite coin signals through trash that wasnt able to distinguish with large coil so hopefully in daylight thursday i can dig up a few nice coins...anyone else got 3x6?..if so hows it work out for you..i can tell gonna be super in real trashy areas, but more concerned on depth...regardless i will finally post some pics with junk already dug up with large coil and whatever i find thursday...thanks for reading...Curt

I use the 4x6 in the trashy area's sometimes and its real good .I had to slow down my swing some was over swinging the targets if I didn't . You will love it for smaller trashy area's and you won't see alot of difference in depth from the standard coil its really pretty good . Congrats on getting it
I also use the 6x10 DD coil and its does a good job also in medium trashy area's .

The little shooter is a gem in the heavy trash and great for getting close to playground equipment as well.
The 5.3 and the 6X10 coils work well in moderate to somewhat heavy trash and either makes a good general use coil in my opinion. I have the 4X6, 5.3, 6X10, 9.5 and the 12" but seldom use the 9.5 or the 12" unless I'm hunting open, trash free areas. I probably don't need quite that much coil selection, but 3 of them came with my MXT which I bought used and I've added the others since and there are situations where they all have their worth and certainly add a lot of versatility to the MXT.

the describe such things as detector weight or search coils size.

.. anyone else got 3x6?
The "Shooter" coil is the best way to refer to their little elliptical Double-D because they missed the mark when describing it's physical size. Some descriptions have been 3X6 and most of their literature calls it a 4X6, but it's certainly not a 4" diameter!

Just like the 5.3 Black Max, 5.3 BullsEye, and 5.3 Eclipse coils (suggesting they are less than 5
