Article on Lost Treasure was talking about MD'ing ghost towns or nearly a ghost town. If you live in a big city, you hear people talking about your town all the time. I never hear much said about where I live. Who would, this place is a ghost town. This guy mentioned places I have friends that lives there and places that I have hunted and fished for years. He even showed pictures of a house in the county I live in. I drive by this place! I did a search on this man's name. He lives a good hour from me.
There was another article one day that talked about a man that lives 20 miles north of me that averages 20,000 coins a year. That's getting a little close.
I live 8 miles from a town of 25,000. I have never seen anyone in this town with a metal detector. There are no metal detecting clubs in the whole state. That's fine with me. I don't mind a casual friend visiting and detecting with me. Please feel free to give me a call if you are in the area. BUT move here and %^&$%!!. OK. I am spoiled. I don't like competition. I feel for you city dwellers.
