Kind of a neat find today

Out for a quick run this afternoon. Didn't find a whole lot but did find this at a soccer field. When I first pulled it out I thought it was some kind of game thing but after cleaning it, I decided that it is a figure of Jesus, off of a child's necklace. It appears to be pewter but it did shine up after cleaning. I would think there is no value but it is a "different" find.

You may have a piece of sliver there. Not sure how much pewter is used in jewelry? When you rub it on a soft cloth does the cloth get black. If so, it probably is silver. HH jim tn

That is a nice find, is there any markings on the back?

There are no markings on the back and there are no black markings on a soft cloth. I've about decided that it may just be some kind of pot metal with a cheap plating. Still kind of a cool find tho.

Found something like that once. Mounted it on a beam under my porch. Sort of having Jesus looking out for us.
