Would a 28 frequency FBS coil work on a 17 frequency BBS machine? The obvious answer is no... but then why not? I could see the other way round not working because the BBS coil could not handle the FBS frequencies. Has anybody tried?
 
If the 17 frequencies of the BBS machine are 17 of the 28 frequencies of the FBS machine, then I would think it would work.
 
The 28bbs machine goes up to 100khz and the 17bbs only goes to around 28khz.
There may be a significant difference because if I'm not mistaken, both have a pre-amp built into the coil,
