Killer Bee headphones

New member
The description at a dealers website states that the Killer Bee Hornet Optima headphones has two 150 ohm speakers. I have these phones, no where in the literature does it mention ohms. I"m assuming these would be called 300 ohm phones. Any one here know if 300 is correct.

Phones sound good to me but wondering if a higher impedance would be even better on the Cortes.

Not tried them yet but no detailed instructions was wondering which position worked what on the toggle switch for the wasp's

the one where you can hear the threshold. Really, I am serious. At least that is how my Killer Bees work.

The speaker itself is a 150 ohm device, When operating in concert with the headphone speakers tied into the type of jack necessary to send audio the nominal impedance is 75 ohms.

I try every new headphone that comes out that is a reasonable candidate for a serious detectorist and I still haven't found any I prefer to the Killer B 'Wasp' or their twin, the SunRay Pro Gold. Excellent!
